Part of the next biathlon generation
Niklas Hartweg, 23 years old, lives in Lenzerheide and is currently the strongest Swiss biathlete. At the age of 18, he became the Youth World Champion. After moving into the Junior category, he continued to excel. The versatile athlete secured three crystal globes in the IBU Junior Cup Series and won the bronze medal at the Junior European Championships. Due to these strong performances, he made his debut in the 2020/2021 World Cup season and, only two years later, already secured his first World Cup podium placements. Thanks to his impressive and spectacular rise, he contributes significantly to the popularity of his sport. His big goal is the Home World Championships in Lenzerheide in 2025.
