Viktoria Rebensburg

German ski racer who inspired a generation with her determination

Viktoria Rebensburg is a former professional ski racer from Germany. She was particularly successful in the giant slalom and became the Olympic Champion in 2010 as well as World Champion runner-up in 2015 and 2019. In the 2010/11, 2011/12 and 2017/18 seasons, she also won the giant slalom discipline ranking in the Alpine Ski World Cup. At the Pyeongchang Olympic Winter Games in 2018, she landed three top-rankings in the downhill, super-G and slalom disciplines. Viktoria announced her retirement in 2020 and has since been travelling and studying to become a metabolism coach.
